About Us

Khaddar, a timeless fabric deeply rooted in subcontinental heritage, has been worn and woven for centuries. Its revival began with a historic movement led by national leaders who encouraged the use of local products and discouraged the consumption of foreign goods—laying the foundation for a self-reliant textile industry.

After the partition, the Khaddar industry evolved across regions. In Pakistan, the city of Kamalia, located in Punjab, emerged as a central hub for Khaddar production. What started as a craft scattered among independent weavers soon transformed into a thriving industry, giving rise to the now-renowned name: Kamalia Khaddar.

Established in 1983, Kamalia Khaddar began with the installation of traditional Khaddi machines, introducing a wide range of natural yarn fabrics suitable for all seasons. Our mission has always been to preserve and promote traditional craftsmanship while meeting the evolving demands of modern fashion.

Unlike conventional textile companies, Kamalia Khaddar is not centralized. It is a collective identity representing hundreds of independent manufacturing units in Kamalia city—each with its own marketing strategy yet united under the heritage of true handwoven Khaddar.

With innovation and adaptability at its core, Kamalia Khaddar continues to evolve. Our collections reflect a blend of tradition and trend—crafted with care, designed for comfort, and made for those who appreciate quality. We offer vibrant, expressive, and seasonal fashion that is both timeless and contemporary.

Today, Kamalia Khaddar proudly serves customers across Pakistan through a well-established distribution network, a growing online presence, and our own multi-brand retail stores.

At the entrance of Kamalia, a cemented welcome monument stands tall—proudly bearing the name Kamalia Khaddar—symbolizing our deep connection with the city and its heritage.
